Data Destruction Methods
Green PC provide solutions to data protection using the following methods

Blancco Stealth Cleaner

This can be installed to laptops which are used outside of the office. In the event of a laptop having been stolen when the new user enters the password incorrectly 3 times the software starts data wiping the hard drive unbeknown to the user. The user is left with hardware itself only, no operating system, no programmes and certainly no data.

Blancco DataCleaner

Our engineers can come on site and erase the data on hard drives using Blancco 4.5HMG DataCleaner+ which is one of only a couple of products approved for use on UK governments computers to remove data. The Blancco programme generates a certificate of data destruction for each computer treated. The engineers can also provide a report for asset tracking purposes.

Degaussing and on site shredding

The engineers use a UK Government approved degausser which disrupts the magnetic field of the hard drive rendering the contents inaccessible. The mobile shredder in our van comes to your company door for you to watch the hard drives being crushed into small pieces.
